GOD CELEBRATED OUR 21ST ANNIVERSARY FOR US
A few weeks ago my husband and I were discussing about our upcoming 21st Anniversary to hold as an outreach program to bless lives. Between our 20th anniversary and now, the Lord has done many wonderful things through us and for us. Besides 21 years of following God’s vision passionately worth giving thanks to God. We dropped the idea later considering our financial situation. We didn’t inform anyone about it not, even our members. A few days later the thought came back to our mind to do something so, we discussed it again. This time I mentioned some specific things we need to settle and then said If God wants us to celebrate then He should settle some urgent needs and of course, he should provide specifically for the anniversary. I just said it casually while busy in the kitchen and God heard my words.
On Easter Sunday, we ministered in a powerful drama in church and three days later I uploaded it on YouTube. A few days later I received a notification of a donation from another country and the donation had a note attached to it which reads: “This is a token towards the ministry upcoming anniversary in May. Praying for more anointing in Jesus name” I burst into tears of Joy as I realized that God heard what I said casually, my faith was strengthened for provision for our other needs. God inspired a few others to support as well for the celebration and thanksgiving. May the Lord replenish everyone who gave to support us.
So, we decided to celebrate and we prayed. God instructed us on what we need to do, He inspired us to encourage with awards some drama ministers who have been trained by us in time past and are functioning in the drama ministry in their various countries. We chose 7 people from 4 different countries and on Saturday 6th May 2017, we gathered together to praise God for his faithfulness. Due to the shortness of time, five of the awardees couldn’t come down but sent in video clips to tell us what they have been doing in their various drama groups and ministries. The purpose of the award is to encourage them to keep pressing forward in drama ministry.
One of the highlights of the program was the dedication of our latest movie “Subtle Game” written and produced by my dear husband, the movie was dedicated unto God and cast and crew members were prayed for. Pastor Adeyemi Adejayan (Pastor, RCCG Grace Center Zaragoza Spain) who is also an alumni our drama college and one of the awardees ministered to us in words and also prayed for the ministry. A brief documentary of the ministry was also shown and there was music from various ministers and we celebrated God’s faithfulness together with a thankful heart as we look forward to more fruitful years in ministry.
