Background:

The vision for the ministry was received by Toyin Eso-Fatunsin on Saturday 3rd May, 1996 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria  as THE OVERCOMERS DRAMA AND FILM MINISTRY with the primary vision to reach all Nigerian Secondary Schools for Christ through drama. She was in the Senior Secondary School at the time and has since been committed to the call even after she graduated from the University in 2006.

The ministry was given assignments comprising these various arms: Film Productions, Television Outreach, Drama College, Youth Outreach, Daughters of Destiny, teaching ministry and a lot more. Outreaches to Nigerian Secondary Schools started in 1997, after a period of waiting on the Lord for more insight. In December 1999, the ministry was officially commissioned and the name changed from OVERCOMERS DRAMA AND FILM MINISTRY to OVERCOMERS EVANGELICAL MINISTRIES INT’L as the Lord told her that the vision of the ministry is beyond drama ministry. Teaching the word by organizing conferences as inspired by the Lord is a major part of the vision and itinerary ministry, few years later this aspect of the ministry began to be evident as the president began to receive invitations to minister the word in various programs across the nations. 

The ministry has ministered in various states in Nigeria through "Mission to Nigerian Secondary Schools" and through the various arms of the ministry. Many have testified to the mighty works of God through the ministry.

In2011; the ministry headquarters relocated to Netherlands as earlier spoken by the Lord which now manifested through the marriage of the president to Dr. Olumide Fatunsin  and from there various evangelical outreaches, training and ministrations are being held till date. The members continued the work in Nigeria most especial ''MISSION TO NIGERIAN SECONDARY SCHOOLS'' and Film Productions.

In August 2015 by divine instruction, the ministry headquarters moved to another European country, precisely Spain. Evangelist Dr. Olumide, Toyin and their son now resides in Spain as Drama Missionaries, Conference conveners  and Itinerary ministers with the Lord backing them up.
